  • Leonardo – Training Rooms (AgustaWestlands)

Wildcat Helicopter training building includes flight simulation, 8 electronic classrooms, workshops and a collection of briefing rooms.

Overview

AgustaWestland, the Anglo-Italian helicopter company owned by Italy’s Finmeccanica delivers mission capability to military and commercial operators around the world. RNAS Yeovilton is the site of AgustaWestland’s latest training facility. The new build is a purpose built 3 floor training complex and includes flight simulation, 8 electronic classrooms, workshops and a collection of briefing rooms for the Wildcat Helicopter training programme.

Zioxi has a long relationship with AgustaWestland and has previously supplied their purpose-built training desks for the Bowman project worldwide.  As technology has advanced so too have Zioxi desk solutions.  The new training centre classrooms are fitted with Zioxi M1 desks which have been customised to the client’s specification.  In addition Zioxi has provided the furniture for all other areas of the building.

Being able to have the computers 'UP' and then put away instantly gives real flexibility to the training rooms.
