onView2 iPad USB-C wall charging cabinet

A smart, slimline wall mount iPad charging cabinet for 10 or 20 iPads and tablet computers (with up to 11″ screens). Integrated USB-C power with only a short length of USB cable presented to each shelf – so no cable mess, no accessible USB sockets for users to break and no cables going missing. Option of a digital code, RFID or key locks. The cabinet features external LED indicators, allowing clear site of iPad presence and charge status.

onView2 technology provides green, smart and timed charge options to reduce energy consumption and protect battery life; automatic schedule control; configurable rule based alerts to flag for example when no mains power is connected, too few iPads are plugged in or the internal temperature is too high; plus powerful status & usage information including how many devices have been used and charged, carbon footprint and electricity spend.

Smart, slimline wall mount iPad charging station

Smart iPad slimline charging cabinet designed specifically for wall mounting in narrow spaces. Simple to use, easy to clean and can be placed pretty much anywhere.

  • Capacity for 10 or 20 iPads, tablets and smartphones with up to 11” screen sizes (solutions for larger devices on request)
  • Angled smooth re-cycled plastic shelves designed to protect tablet casings and providing very easy device removal & replacement
  • Large shelf spacings to allow all standard cases including rugged cases like the Griffin Survivor (but please check shelf aperture dimensions below)
  • Integrated USB-C 20W power, option of pre-fitted USB-C cables
  • External LED indicators make it easy to monitor iPad presence and charge status of each shelf
  • The patented zioxi oneClick cable management ports retain & present only a short length of USB cable alongside each shelf – so cables are all neat & tidy, very simple to connect and can’t go missing
  • Door folds right back (> 180 degrees) with digital code (with master key), RFID (with master key) and key lock options
  • Fixing points to enable the cabinet to be mounted to a wall

  • Smart charge – automatically finishes charging once all devices are fully charged to prolong battery life & save energy
  • Energy Optimiser – automatically optimises charging times to utilize the lowest cost electricity and minimize carbon emissions
  • Automatic alerts – define your own rules and alerts, for example if the cabinet isn’t plugged into mains power or charging when it should be, charging temperatures are too high or not all devices are on charge at the end of the day
  • Schedules – charge automatically according to your own schedules either for a Timed Period or using Smart Charge, any number of times during a day & week
  • Information – find out how may iPads were plugged in, how many iPads where on charge & for how long, the charging carbon footprint, how much electricity is used and how much it cost

    Shelf dimensions:
    The iPad cabinet is designed to accommodate iPads, USB tablets and eReaders up to 11” screen sizes. The shelf aperture size (mm) is 300d x 205w x 35h – big enough so you can leave your iPads and tablets in their cases (including large cases like the Griffin Survivor), but best to check your device dimensions (including the power connector) before ordering. The perfect iPad cabinet for classrooms, offices, warehouses and other commercial environments.

    ConstructionWhite melamine-faced MDF carcase & door, grey electrical compartment steel cover and very robust 100% re-cycled plastic shelves. Wall mount using supplied wall mount panel (20 bay) or battens (5 & 10 bay). Leave space (eg. 300mm) between wall mount cabinets to allow doors to fully open.
    Wall mountA separate wall mount panel is supplied for fixing to the wall, with the cabinet then attached to this panel. The customer (or their appointed installer) is solely responsible for assessing the suitability of the wall, selecting appropriate fixings for that wall type and the load to be supported, and correctly installing the wall mount panel in accordance with any applicable building regulations. Zioxi accepts no responsibility or liability for the wall’s suitability, the fixings used, or the fitting of the panel or cabinet to the wall.
    USB-C  tablet charge only (UC)Integrated USB-C power system housed in the front accessible electrical side bay. Supplied with 1 mains lead. Requires 1 external power socket.

    USB Type-C ports support the Power Delivery (PD3.0) specification at voltages of 5V, 9V, 12V and 15V. So suitable for charging all types of Type C enabled devices including phones and tablets at up to 20W per port.

    (Individual device USB-C cables are required but not included unless specified, no individual AC chargers required).

    ConnectivityConnectivity from each onView2 device to the zioxi cloud service is via 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz WiFi utilising existing establishment Wireless Access Points. Most WiFi security protocols are supported, with the exception of captive security requiring the dynamic entry of user ID and password or WPA2 Enterprise networks using a certificate. This WAP based approach provides flexibility in terms of cabinet locations and requires no additional network infrastructure. Firewall & filtering access out to the web may need local configuration.
    Warranty5 years (electronics including code locks – 2 years). Warranty requires WiFi connection to the zioxi cloud service. This enables automatic software updates and on-going remote support.
